About The Position

Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment.

Requirements

• Sound attendance
• Performance of job description and assignment(s) in professional manner
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions

Responsibilities

• Remove trash in accordance with established procedures
• Cardboard, wood, and steel recycling
• Keep VPC Port clean and free of debris
• Snow removal ang light maintenance issues, such as, clogged toilets, broken broom handles, etc.
• Responds to emergency calls for Custodial assistance, as needed
• Report on any mechanical, manual, and/or preventative issues to management in a timely manner
• Maintain bathrooms, break areas, and basic facilities cleanliness
• Maintains inventory, submits supply requests and operates maintenance equipment
• Operates various cleaning equipment
• Other duties as assigned
