About The Position

Clean and maintain district facilities using routine procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems throughout the district. Assist with maintenance of grounds. Supervised by Director of Maintenance.

Requirements

• Clear and valid Texas driver's license
• Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
• Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
• Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently
