AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Custodian-Junior to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. The hourly range of this position is $21.00/hour and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required. Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
The ability to obtain and maintain SAP and/or SCI access as required
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance-Interim Secret Clearance required to start-AMEWAS willing to obtain and process full clearance

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in custodial or porter role
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices

Responsibilities

Performs custodial duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Empties trash receptacles and replaces liners
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, including toilets, sinks and mirrors
Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies supervisor when replenishment is needed
Performs floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing and polishing
Assists with setting up rooms for meetings or events
Follows established safety procedures and guidelines
Reports any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
