About The Position

Under limited supervision, performs janitorial services for the ASC Greenway. Monitors the cleanliness of the facilities.

Requirements

• Ability to work with a wide variety of people and circumstances
• Ability to successfully work independently and as a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Flexible schedule which may include opening, closing and weekend/holiday shifts
• High school diploma or GED with previous custodial experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Current CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training; will train
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving history

Responsibilities

• Performs janitorial services (i.e. sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean and sanitize restrooms, collects and empties trash/recycling)
• Performs routine custodial and maintenance work as required; assists with preventative maintenance as needed
• Exercises care and safety with equipment and supplies used; maintains equipment and keeps it in good working order
• Responsible for monitoring use of cleaners and understands MSDS sheets and procedures
• Identifies and reports building maintenance needs
• Assists with protecting property; reports damage and theft to supervisor. delivers any found articles to supervisor
• Operates a variety of equipment (i.e. vacuum, floor cleaner, including plungers , etc.)
• Checks and monitors facilities
• Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations (i.e. OSHA, health and safety regulations and guidelines)
• Other duties as assigned
