About The Position
Provides routine indoor and outdoor custodial maintenance services for various assigned municipal buildings and grounds. The role involves performing general custodial maintenance of municipal buildings including wall, ceiling, and window washing, upholstery cleaning, dusting, and painting. The position also includes cleaning and maintaining floors including carpeting, tile, and concrete, as well as cleaning restrooms and removing trash and recyclables. Additionally, the custodian maintains and replenishes cleaning and related supplies and equipment, assists the maintenance supervisor and technician as needed, moves furniture and sets up meeting rooms, performs minor plumbing tasks, removes snow and salts walkways, replaces light bulbs when needed, and performs other duties as necessary to maintain a properly presentable facility.
