Perform a wide range of custodial tasks, including cleaning, preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, and grounds maintenance. Ensure all mechanical equipment and systems are functioning properly and carry out necessary repairs. Create and maintain work orders and purchase orders. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently and effectively. Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with property managers, vendors, and customers. Lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs., up to 75 lbs., and perform activities such as walking, bending, and stretching during shifts. Perform any additional maintenance duties as directed by the HBM supervisor or property management. -Skills/Qualifications: Applicants must successfully pass the HBM prescreen check. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Must have a valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable transportation is required. Flexibility in work schedule is essential. Previous experience in custodial duties and general preventative maintenance is highly desirable. This includes foundational skills in basic plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall. Strong knowledge of general maintenance, cleaning methods, and repair procedures is necessary. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage time effectively is expected. Applicants must have the physical ability to perform manual labor safely and operate equipment correctly. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive and problem-solving mindset are required. Strong troubleshooting abilities and mechanical aptitude are important assets. Capability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions in English is essential. Outstanding public relations and communication skills are a must. A customer service-oriented approach along with strong organizational skills is highly valued. Applicants should be able to perform routine manual labor, maintain cleanliness in shared spaces, and routinely lift, push, pull, or carry loads ranging from 50 to 75 pounds. The position requires physical activities such as reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking, navigating stairs, climbing ladders, and standing for the entire duration of a shift.
