We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance/Janitorial team member to ensure our premises are clean, well-maintained, and operating smoothly. Requirements

• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Lift up to 40 lbs independently and participate in team-lifting heavier items.
• Comfortable with using equipment such as ladders regularly.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined.
• Must possess strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) in English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and safe grounds by regularly picking up trash, maintaining restrooms and common areas, and sweeping floors as needed.
• Perform minor building repairs and maintenance to ensure everything is in optimal working condition.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the sales lot, storage areas, and outdoor sheds.
• Maintain a polished and professional look throughout the year, including the interior and exterior cleaning of windows (both inside and out).
• Assist with seasonal decorations and the monthly changes of promotional themes.
• Help with the hanging of signs and replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and ensuring all aspects of the building remain in good condition.
• Operate a walk-behind floor scrubber to clean auction lanes before, during, and after sales.
• Open and close 10 chain-pull overhead garage bay doors on sale days to ensure readiness for each event.
• Work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a positive environment for employees and customers.
• Be proactive and approachable, offering hands-on support to customers when needed.
• Regularly check and restock cleaning, building, and bathroom supplies, ensuring everything is inventoried and available when needed.
• Keep the landscape vibrant and inviting by trimming plants, sweeping walkways, watering as needed, and ensuring a polished environment.
• Paint areas such as the building exterior, fences, and lane lines to maintain a fresh appearance.
• Communicate any issues that may impact operations to management promptly.
• Be ready to perform any other duties necessary to maintain the functionality and cleanliness of the premises.
