About The Position
Under general supervision, responsible for performing housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and all other areas in campus buildings.
Requirements
- Ability to use common cleaning tools and lightweight vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
- Ability to follow work schedule, work safely and lift/move lightweight objects.
- Ability to read and/or follow simple direction/signs and follow simple verbal and/or written instructions.
- EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED is required.
Responsibilities
- Cleans, sweeps, mops, dusts, and scrubs tile work, floors, stairways, hallways, restrooms, offices, laboratories, locker rooms, and building lobbies.
- Cleans, dusts, and polishes furniture and equipment.
- Washes and polishes drinking fountains.
- Cleans and maintains restrooms.
- Empties waste baskets and trash boxes.
- Wax and polish floors.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
