Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Georgia Class C Driver's License preferred.
• Industrial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and perform custodial care skills proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English at a minimum 6th grade level.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a custodial team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned cleaning and custodial care tasks according to the GCPS Custodial Care Program schedule.
• Utilize approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment for custodial tasks as per GCPS Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain custodial tools and equipment in a clean and safe condition according to GCPS guidelines.
• Open and secure assigned facilities or grounds as instructed by supervisory staff.
• Suggest improvements for cleaning practices, products, or equipment to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members and other staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
