About The Position

Are you ready to take charge and make a difference? In this position, you will lead assigned personnel and perform essential custodial duties. You will regularly assign tasks, provide instructions, and check the work of others to ensure high standards. You will also maintain custodial inventory and conduct training sessions. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, performing snow removal, and other custodial tasks such as emptying waste baskets, cleaning floors, dusting, and cleaning furniture. Requirements

  • Physical ability to do required work and one (1) year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work OR one (1) year experience as a Lead; OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Six (6) months or more in depth knowledge of custodial procedures as performed in Facilities Operations.
