About The Position

This is work performing housekeeping duties including cleaning restrooms, classrooms, offices, common-use areas, and carpet and tile floors in accordance with the APPA cleaning standards. Clean and maintain restrooms, classrooms, offices, kitchens, conference rooms, banquet rooms, large assembly rooms, auditoriums, halls, common areas, stairways, elevators, building entrance areas, windows, doors and display cases. Perform additional floor cleaning and maintenance duties.

Requirements

Completion of ninth (9th) grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
Some positions may require possession of a classified driver’s license appropriate to a type of vehicle operated.
This position requires a background check.
This position may also require a credit check.
Promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain restrooms, classrooms, offices, kitchens, conference rooms, banquet rooms, large assembly rooms, auditoriums, halls, common areas, stairways, elevators, building entrance areas, windows, doors and display cases.
Perform additional floor cleaning and maintenance duties.
Special set-up requests.
Provides manpower during events.
Cleans up after events.
Work orders.
Receives and delivers supplies.
Assists other departments as needed.
Picks up materials from vendors.
Make every effort to return to campus when directed in the event of a declared campus emergency (Tier 2 respondent).
