About The Position

This position complies with the Respect of Florida Program, a Florida-based initiative to promote employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Requirements

Six months of experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification. Ask for a translation from the supervisor when needed. Must be able to communicate issues to the immediate supervisor.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must wear the appropriate PPE: glasses, gloves, mask, goggles, and closed-toe shoes.

Responsibilities

Keeps the assigned area in a clean and orderly condition
Prepare chemicals for use in the performance of various cleaning tasks, by instructions
Care for equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning as needed
Perform cleaning duties as instructed and assigned, including but not limited to:
Restroom cleaning, replenishing paper products, and soap in restrooms.
Office cleaning, empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, damp wipe surfaces, vacuum, sweep
Removal of trash
Floor cleaning, sweep, dust mop, damp mop, and wet mop
Performance of cleaning duties may take place in an indoor/outdoor environment, depending on the customer’s needs
All other duties as assigned
