About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our retail and office facility. This part-time position involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks that ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are upheld.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas, including entrances and walkways.
• Follow established procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure safety.
• Participate in special projects such as deep cleaning initiatives.
• Other tasks as assigned.
