About The Position

The Custodial Worker position at the Fort Belknap Service Unit in Harlem, MT, is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various areas of the health facility. The incumbent will report to the Custodial Worker Supervisor and may be required to work on-call hours or standby duty.

Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment examination.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Must be suitable for Federal employment as determined by a background investigation.
• Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required for all selectees prior to entrance on duty.

Responsibilities

• Clean all patient treatment rooms, exam rooms, and laboratory areas, ensuring they are disinfected and free from pathogenic bacteria.
• Scrub, strip, wax, and polish floors using heavy powered scrubbers and buffers.
• Inspect all exam rooms, offices, hallways, and storage areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Dust and clean all filing cabinets, tables, counters, window sills, light fixtures, and fans.
• Ensure that restrooms are supplied with soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and deodorizers.
