About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to count, read, and write numbers.
• Ability to read and understand warning signs.
• 3 months of experience or training in institutional or industrial cleaning is preferred.
• Some positions may require a current valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow instructions and safety procedures for cleaning all rooms and common areas.
• Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and replenish supplies.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles and take trash to designated pickup areas.
• Clean walls, windows, doors, ceilings, shelves, ledges, mirrors, woodwork, vents, window frames, and other surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, strip, wax, polish, and renew floor surfaces; clean, vacuum, and shampoo rugs and carpets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
