About The Position
The Custodial Worker performs custodial duties to provide for care, cleaning, and routine maintenance of buildings, furniture, and fixtures according to established work rules. The position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor or other designated supervisor. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floor surfaces; cleaning and shampooing carpets; operating various cleaning machines; and maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, shower facilities, and food service areas. The worker may also be responsible for moving and arranging furniture, laundering linens, and maintaining supply levels.
