This is maintenance and personal services work involving minor supervisory duties in the custodial care of buildings and equipment or heavy manual work in a dietary service. Responsibilities include sweeping, cleaning, shoveling snow, raking leaves, filling food carts, and transporting the food to designated areas, and operating low-pressure boilers and elevators. May lead the work of employees engaged in janitorial tasks or dietary service work. Work is performed under general supervision.
