About The Position

Custodial Technician - Part-Time - Evenings This is a 4 hour shift, Monday - Friday, within the Custodial hours of 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. Please complete a job application on our job portal at www.renocountyks.gov/Job-Openings. Job Purpose and Objectives: Assists in maintaining Reno County owned buildings by keeping them neat and clean, and by being observant, recording items needing repair by the maintenance technicians. Part-time crew members acts in a supportive role to the full-time crew and may or may not include all essential duties below, depending on departmental needs, and current job assignments. Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Minimum 1-year previous experience desired
• Shall be a US citizen or Non-US citizen that must be able to perform the work in or for the United States
• Shall be at least 18 years of age
• Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a named-based record check before employment is offered or before job duties are assigned that might expose them to KCJIS-sensitive information
• Shall be screened for a record of criminal activity and criminal history using a fingerprint-based check within 30 days after initial employment or assignment and before unconditional employment is offered
• Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license
