The Custodial Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept facility, both inside and out. This position performs a variety of janitorial, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the property is presentable and in good working order. The Custodial Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and works closely with other team members to support daily operations and upkeep. Facility Cleaning & Maintenance Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners as needed Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors Refill soap, paper towel, and restroom supplies Report maintenance needs (e.g., lighting, plumbing, etc.) Building Support Set up and tear down for meetings, events, or special projects Notify appropriate personnel on low inventory counts of cleaning supplies and equipment Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times Outdoor & Grounds Maintenance Trim bushes, edge sidewalks, and maintain flower beds Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from walkways and parking areas Shovel snow, spread salt, and maintain safe outdoor walkways during winter Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting or mulching Maintain exterior cleanliness of buildings, entrances, and windows General Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and environmental standards
