About The Position

The Custodial Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our campus community. The Custodial Supervisor leads a team of 13 custodians and is responsible for hiring, assigning and inspecting work, providing coaching and support, and helping to resolve day-to-day issues. While primarily focused on supervision, this position also contributes directly to custodial services when needed to ensure high standards are met. This position reports to the Services Manager. As part of a dynamic university environment, Custodial Supervisors may occasionally be asked to adjust their schedules or work overtime to respond to last-minute needs or campus events. The University makes every effort to provide advance notice, and attendance at certain events may be required to support our mission of service to students, faculty, and staff.
