About the position
The Custodial Services position at Athens Health and Fitness focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the women's locker room and surrounding areas. This role involves general cleaning, minor maintenance duties, and providing assistance to staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in the women's locker room and adjacent areas.
- Use brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep and mop floors.
- Utilize vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Dust furniture and equipment as needed.
- Empty wastebaskets and replenish restroom supplies.
- Replace light bulbs and pick up/deliver supplies to rooms.
- Follow safety rules and procedures while performing duties.
- Report work accomplished to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in building cleaning and maintenance work is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 45 pounds.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Driver's license is preferred.
