About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Janitorial Project Manager to oversee and manage janitorial services for various client sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning operations are performed efficiently, meet client expectations, and adhere to company standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of janitorial practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in janitorial management or a related field.
  • Experience in project management or supervisory roles.
  • Experience managing multiple sites or large-scale projects is an asset.
  • Experience working with union employees highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of janitorial projects across assigned client sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and lead a team of janitorial staff, providing direction, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverages for all shifts and projects.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Ensure that all janitorial activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee the procurement, inventory, and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Address any issues that arise during the course of a project, such as equipment failures or client complaints.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project status, staff performance, and any issues encountered.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in janitorial services.
