About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our custodial team for a temporary assignment. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
• TB test clearance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, tools, and materials
• Proficiency in using routine cleaning equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms following established procedures
• Dust and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Replace light bulbs and refill restroom dispensers
• Assist with room setups for meetings, classrooms, and events
• Strip, buff, and apply finish to hard surface floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and vacuums
• Wash walls and equipment; use ladders as needed
• Lock and unlock buildings; ensure facilities are secured when not in use
