About The Position

The 3rd Shift Custodian at Lindbergh High School is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. The schedule is set for 12 months, from Sunday to Thursday, with working hours from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The starting hourly rate is $16.83, with an additional $0.25 based on experience. This position is non-exempt and includes full benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and retirement.

Responsibilities

• Cleans/Disinfects and preserves designated spaces in district buildings.
• Performs general cleaning, trash removal, sweeping/vacuuming, window cleaning, restroom maintenance, breakroom cleaning, snow removal, buffing & waxing of floors, and other duties as assigned.
• Restocks disposable items and provides lead custodian with inventory usage and data.
• Operates and cares for mechanical equipment such as ride-on scrubbers, side/side scrubbers, wet vacs, and other cleaning equipment.
• Sets up and takes down specific event needs such as tarps, chairs, tables, and other specified needs per event.
• Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within the building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment.
• Works overtime as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
