About The Position

The position involves identifying and evaluating facility issues, determining and implementing effective solutions. The role requires performing preventative maintenance, restoration, repair, and rebuilding using general carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills. The individual will respond to emergency repair requests, assess severity, and make necessary repairs or recommend contractors. Additionally, the position includes maintaining an inventory of all repair equipment and supplies, performing general and non-routine cleaning of all building areas as directed, and managing routine upkeep of exterior areas, common spaces, and parking lots. Responsibilities also include removing garbage and recycling, preparing bins for weekly pick-up, handling emergency cleaning and upkeep requests, ensuring rooms are maintained and fully stocked, troubleshooting issues with HVAC, lighting, and indoor climate control, delivering/picking up boxes from management companies as needed, responding to insurance claims for initial removal of damaged property and cleaning, and performing other maintenance duties as required.

  • 2–3 years of industry experience preferred but not required.
