The Custodial Maintenance Host at GGP Parks LLC is responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness in the park, both inside and outside. This role requires working collaboratively within a team to exceed quality standards in custodial maintenance. The position involves a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to cleaning conference rooms, hallways, elevators, common areas, stairwells, entrances, restrooms, and breakrooms. The Custodial Maintenance Host will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor areas, which includes sweeping pathways, picking up trash, and emptying trashcans. Additionally, the role requires cleaning and disinfecting drinking fountains and restroom facilities, replenishing supplies, and maintaining inventory to ensure quality standards are upheld. The Custodial Maintenance Host will utilize various equipment such as gas-powered vacuums, blowers, high-pressure water hoses, and power washers to clean all areas of the park. Special cleaning projects may be assigned by leadership, and the host will provide custodial support for events. It is essential for the host to identify maintenance deficiencies and report them to leadership, as well as manage work productivity using TMA and/or department systems. Safety is a priority, and the host must follow all department and supply manufacturers' recommendations, practices, and procedures. The role also integrates sustainability practices into daily cleaning routines and requires effective communication with team members and guests. The position includes opening and closing the park according to established procedures and may involve assisting other locations within the park as needed.
