About The Position
The Custodial Host/Hostess is a full-time role responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment throughout the facility. This involves utilizing proper equipment, cleaners, and techniques for cleaning, responding promptly to custodial issues, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The role also requires completing hourly checklists and daily reports, maintaining custodial equipment and supplies, cooperating with team members, and keeping work areas organized.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and proper use of commercial cleaning supplies
- Strong customer service and service-oriented mindset required
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
- Must be able to work evening, holiday, and/or weekend schedules as required
- Must clear background security check and/or drug tests at company discretion
Nice To Haves
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment throughout the facility
- Maintain center-wide cleanliness using proper equipment, cleaners, techniques, and approved methods of cleaning
- Follow established standard operating procedures to methodically and consistently clean assigned areas
- Respond promptly to custodial issues as they arise to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Know and properly execute all emergency and evacuation procedures
- Constantly interact with guests in assigned areas, greeting them with a pleasant attitude and smiling face
- Accurately complete hourly checklists and daily custodial reports as required
- Properly use and maintain custodial equipment and supplies
- Cooperate with fellow crew members, assisting with common duties and responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of the area
- Maintain work areas, storage spaces, and custodial closets in a clean and organized manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
