About The Position

Do you have passion for cleaning and speaking with guests? We are currently seeking a Custodial Cast Member to work at Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts! In this role, Custodial Cast can work across a variety of locations, indoors and outdoors, and interact with Guests daily answering questions, supplying directions, and providing outstanding Guest service. Daily duties include cleaning tables, cleaning hazardous spills, emptying trashcans, cleaning restrooms, using chemicals, sweeping, general area cleaning, and recycling. Resort Custodial may also clean the pool area, clean/straighten pool lounge chairs, work with dirty towels, and restock clean towels. The pay rate for this role in Florida is $19.00 per hour. Premium of $2.00 per hour for shifts starting at or after 10:00pm Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Full Time Cast Members will work at least 32 hours per week. Part-Time position requires full availability for any shift, any (3) days per week, including nights and holidays. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • A valid US driver’s license to drive company vehicles like Pick-Up trucks and Pargo
  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, walking, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, repetitive movements, and kneeling
  • Strong communication skills (including written and spoken English, and interpersonal skills) to positively talk with Guests, Cast Members, and leadership
  • Outstanding guest service
  • 100% of the time (in Parks and Resorts) is Guest interaction (i.e., assisting with directions, pin trading and any other assistance they may need)
  • Requires driving company vehicle, such as Pargo or pick-up truck
  • Hosing
  • Recycling
  • Vacuuming

  • Will be using cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Clean, dust, and wash down windows
  • Remove trays and clean, arrange, and stack chairs and tables in Food and Beverage locations
  • Inspect and clean all areas for cleanliness on a regular basis, including flowerbeds
  • Operate and utilize various forms of communication (phone, radio, applications, verbal, written)
  • Follow accurate Blood-borne Pathogens procedures for the cleanup of various bodily fluids utilizing personal protective equipment
  • Clean after occasional floods and backups
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of pools area (including handling dirty towels), lobby, recreational and parking lot areas
  • Comfortable with experiencing the Skyliner while traveling from station to station and cleaning while the Gondola is in motion
  • BOH (Back of House) Custodial Support Services will be supporting the backstage areas
