The Curriculum, Data, and Assessment Specialist of School Counseling will support, in partnership with Building Administration, all aspects of the school counseling program. Provides leadership and direction to the school counseling staff to ensure that student needs are being met. Provides protocols and processes all students equitable access to quality, developmentally appropriate, and comprehensive school counseling program focused on academic success, personal, and social development and career and college guidance. Consults and collaborates with teachers, parents, and staff to increase student achievement, motivation, and academic learning. This position will build structures and supports to ensure that all students graduate New Bedford Public Schools with a post-secondary plan in place. Works with the district level staff around college, careers, out of school time, and pathways.
