The Curbside Shopper is responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. This role, also known as an Omni Experience Ambassador, will be working within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club. Team members are expected to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, procedures and compliance, act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work as a team, move with speed and agility, innovate and adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. They are also responsible for delivering service excellence to members, resolving concerns, and maintaining GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD Club Standards (Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean Club Standards, Grand opening look daily). The role involves maintaining a clean and organized OMNI Space, understanding and utilizing performance reporting, and seeing the connection between execution and business impact.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order pulling experience preferred
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred

• Maintains a clean and organized environment, inside the OMNI Space
• Bin storage to organize members orders used based on gold standards
• Storage bins regularly cleaned and maintained based on safety standards
• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department
• See the connection between consistent execution and the positive impact it can have on the business
• Processes member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list
• Utilizes a handheld scanner device (RF) device to pick orders from the sales floor
• Uses handheld scanner device (RF) to verify merchandise
• Moves merchandise from sales floor to staging area
• Communicates problems with inventory and/or equipment and communicates expired or short-dated items included on pick list
• Communicates with club team when merchandise needs to be replenished
• Works with team to have merchandise pulled from reserve area, when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment
• Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements
• Works with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met up to and including key performance indicators based on individual performance
• Follows operational efficiencies, processes and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside and Ship from Club
• Takes responsibility for individual performance and works with club leadership on individual performance when metrics are not met
• Securely packages the order in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Ensures the SFC area is neat, clean, and organized
• Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area
• Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Processes returns to the club and makes determination on how to handle (via DDR or Membership desk)
• Maintains all club policies and procedures, including adhering to proper dress code standards
• Required to meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA”s), performance metrics and goals
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job
