About The Position

The Culture and Engagement Specialist is responsible for managing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace culture and employee engagement within the organization. This role involves developing strategies to improve employee morale, retention, and satisfaction, while also overseeing programs that promote engagement among both employees and residents. The specialist collaborates with various departments to implement best practices and ensure effective communication of engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, social science, or a related discipline.
  • Five years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three years of experience in employee engagement working with leaders and staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of strategy development and project management.
  • Ability to implement, track, and monitor programming effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational development and change management.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information to all levels of employees and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels, including with vendors and board members.

  • Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement specific to the senior living industry.
  • Experience in facilitating and coaching teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager for culture-building and employee engagement initiatives as directed by the CEO.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase employee morale and retention.
  • Monitor key metrics and adjust programs to enhance employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to create engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Provide training and coaching to leaders on improving employee engagement in partnership with HR Talent Development team.
  • Create and manage an employee appreciation/recognition program in collaboration with HR and other departments.
  • Coordinate internal communication regarding engagement programs and committees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance culture and morale among residents.
  • Create and launch a resident engagement and satisfaction survey in partnership with relevant departments.
  • Administer the annual employee engagement survey and analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with leaders to create action plans based on survey results and report on key performance indicators.
