About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in higher education.
  • Experience with program development, implementation, and assessment.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse university constituents and external organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership to culture and engagement initiatives that align with the university's mission.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with senior leadership to design and implement comprehensive culture and engagement strategies.
  • Establish a framework for ongoing culture and engagement training for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Contribute to the development and oversight of performance metrics aligned with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate strategic and annual planning processes, embedding culture and engagement considerations in institutional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Institutional Planning, Research, and Effectiveness office to enhance institutional effectiveness.
  • Develop and monitor an annual budget for the Culture and Engagement unit.
  • Serve as a link between the college and the community, fostering relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to USDA and institutional policies, preparing required reports and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in campus crisis management teams.
