About The Position

Kimley-Horn is looking for an Archaeology graduate with 1+ years of experience to join our Archaeology team in our Tallahassee, Florida (FL) office! Responsibilities Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. Travel may be required (approximately 50%). Requirements

  • Advanced degree in archaeology, anthropology, historic architecture/architectural history, or a closely related field
  • 1+ years of experience preparing or reviewing a variety of technical reports, including Cultural Resources Assessment Surveys in the Southeastern United States
  • 1+ years of experience in survey, testing, and data recovery projects of various sizes and complexity
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of CRM and relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying research methods and forming and maintaining internal-team relationship
  • Ability to manage projects and teams as a leader and/or supervisor and to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a large, multi-disciplinary team and promote and sustain effective working relationships with clients, the public, and other agencies
  • Proficient organizational, schedule, and budget management skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
