About The Position

Ethos Cannabis is a multi-state cannabis company with operations in the cultivation, processing and dispensing of cannabis in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Ohio. Our mission is supported by our relationship with Jefferson Health, a leading academic medical center in the U.S., dedicated to collecting and analyzing valuable real-world data and developing educational initiatives with a focus on patient outcomes and quality of life. Jefferson Health is our Academic Clinical Research Center partner for our vertically integrated operations in Pennsylvania. Cultivation Technicians are responsible for assisting the managers in the day-to-day functions of the cultivation production areas, including the propagation, cultivation, and harvest of cannabis plants. Successful Cultivation Technicians are energetic, detail-oriented, operational team players with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude. By closely following the training and guidance from the Management Team, Cultivation Technicians take the daily actions that result in the success of our crops and the quality of our product. Additionally, minimizing miscommunications and taking seriously the concerns of other cultivation team members ensures a safe and responsible workplace. We are seeking a passionate, driven, detail- oriented and collaborative Cultivation Technician to support the company's cultivation activities. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and is a collaborative team player but also a self-starter. Previous cannabis cultivation experience is not . Role reports to the Cultivation Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Ability to work weekends/holidays
  • Ability to perform activities for up to 8 hours a day
  • Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
  • Must pass stringent background test requirements of Pennsylvania

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a commercial cannabis setting is beneficial but not necessary
  • Certification(s)/education in agricultural, horticultural, or botanical practices are beneficial but not necessary
  • Education in agriculture, horticulture, or botany is beneficial but not necessary

  • Correctly utilizing appropriate checklists , logs, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures
  • Cleaning & sanitizing
  • Keep work and break areas free of clutter and debris
  • Ensure work uniforms are as clean as possible
  • Communicate effectively with others in cultivation and other departments
  • Other duties as needed
  • Update any personal information which may be for contact, payment, benefits, tax purposes, or similar contained in an employee's personnel file
  • Other duties as assigned
