About The Position

PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry. The Cultivation Technician III - Irrigation is responsible for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of various data sources as they pertain to overall plant health. Hours for this role are: Sunday - Thursday schedule from 7:30am - 4:15pm Pay is 24.90/hour

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of experience in a related field required.
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with other departments as well as third-party labs and vendors in the pursuit of their duties.
  • Proven ability in Cult Technician II responsibilities, plus proficiency in Irrigation Related Tasks : Pour throughs , soil media sampling, brix testing, fertilizer analysis, data collection, sample coordination, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; commitment to product quality, initiative to learn new skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Understands the fundamental principles of cultivation, integrated pest management, and greenhouse sanitation and applies them in a practical manner.
  • Ability to independently conduct research for the improvement of overall Cultivation Process
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated competency in computer software skills including ERP systems, google suite, and environmental monitoring software preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cannabis regulations for the local market as it pertains to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates technicians during operations pertaining to plant health analytics including but not limited to pour through collection, soil media sampling, brix testing, environmental analysis, and fertilizer analysis and development.
  • Maintain precise and accurate data collection and ensure reports generated are definitive and straightforward.
  • Monitor fertilizer performance and implement changes and/or improvements as needed.
  • Conduct research and trials to vet new methods of monitoring plant health/quality and generate action plans based on research data.
  • Train and mentor technicians in the use of approved methods for monitoring overall plant health in Cultivation on a regular basis.
  • Under the direction of the Cultivation Manager will maintain various systems for the collection, recording, and reporting of data.
  • Generate periodic reports pertaining to crop health conditions for the review of management.
  • Assist Cultivation management in the interpretation of plant health data and the determination of corrective actions.
  • Perform all tasks set by management in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Knows, understands and applies fundamental principles of cultivation SOP and sanitation in the field in a practical manner.
  • Manages daily tasks to SOPs.
  • Work closely with the Cultivation Technician III - IPM to identify potential issues and ensure overall greenhouse health.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
