About The Position

FLUENT, in exclusive partnership with Connected New York, is excited to be hiring for positions at our new state-of-the-art cultivation facility in Buffalo, New York. Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 years or older.
  • High school or equivalent.
  • Previous agricultural/warehouse/manufacturing/laborer experience preferred.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed.
  • Must be able to identify various problems with any strain/product and communicate with direct supervisors.
  • Basic understanding of cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state.
  • Ability to work well with others and adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, methods and technique.
  • Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of pest and disease control management.
  • Knowledge or experience with METRC compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all tasks in the indoor harvest grow including Mother plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting, nutrients and pH management, water management, positive airflow, temperature and humidity control, pest and disease control, and IPM program implementation.
  • Manage plant scheduling and organization to project all plant needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Cataloguing and maintaining organization of plants, tags, and pruning biomass.
  • Wash and sanitize all equipment.
  • Scout all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease.
  • Breakdown flowers off stem and stalk of plant to separate unusable waste from usable product.
  • Track the amount of unusable waste for each batch.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility.
  • Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
  • Follow basic instructions and take constructive feedback from managers.
