As a Cultivation Technician 3 at Vangarden Cannabis, you play a key role in the success of our cultivation operations. This position involves overseeing daily tasks and supporting team members within your designated area. You will perform a variety of essential functions, including cleaning, transplanting, trellising, defoliating, pruning, harvesting, and irrigation management. Working closely with the Cultivation Supervisor, you ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with company and state regulations. You will maintain detailed logs on key performance indicators, monitor plant health, and report any pest or disease concerns. In addition, you are responsible for enforcing sanitization protocols, conducting room checks, and assisting with inventory audits. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and high-performing cultivation environment that reflects Vangarden's mission and values. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN 3? To succeed in this role, a diverse and well-rounded skill set is essential. Strong communication and leadership abilities are important for assigning tasks and guiding team members effectively. Proficiency in core cultivation practices-including pruning, defoliating, and irrigation management-is required to support daily operations. Familiarity with record-keeping systems is necessary for tracking plant growth, pest control applications, and overall performance metrics. Attention to detail is critical, as you will conduct regular room checks to assess plant health and promptly identify any issues. A strong understanding of state regulations and company SOPs ensures full compliance throughout all cultivation processes. Experience with Metrc software is required for accurate inventory tracking.
