Our next Full-Time Cultivation Supervisor will be a key player in executing crop production tasks and overseeing a team to ensure we are executing the company's Standard Operating Procedures for indoor cultivation. This position will be on-site at our Waterfall, PA facility.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 4-year degree, helpful but not required.
  • Two years of experience in greenhouse/indoor cultivation, arboriculture, horticulture, or related field.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • High energy level required.
  • Strong leadership, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule to meet the business needs including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of Cannabis products a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Directs, monitors, and assists with all cultivation operations under discretion of Cultivation Managers.
  • Plans, coordinates, and assists with job planning.
  • Direct and supervise cultivation crew leads and cultivation technicians in production.
  • Implements safe work procedures in field operations.
  • Develop, coach, and consistently execute TerrAscend's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Plan, organize and direct the production of live goods ensuring the most effective.
  • Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective strategies.
  • Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product quality.
  • Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports business goals.
  • Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments.
  • Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes.
  • Prioritize schedule on a daily basis and communicate to team.
  • Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical and safety attitudes.
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
  • Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production management concepts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
