About The Position

The Cultivation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of cannabis cultivation work in accordance with the standards set by the company. They provide direct support for all cultivation associates, adhere to schedules, assist in training, actively stay informed on policy and procedure updates, and maintain adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. They are r esponsible for upholding the highest possible standards of work in cultivation, maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with State regulations and standards set by the company.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree+ in a horticultural or agricultural field and/or demonstrated experience in horticulture or agricultural production
  • Detailed knowledge of indoor hydroponic cultivation practices, life cycle of cannabis, common pests of cannabis and compliance
  • Must be 21 years or older and pass all required pre-employment screenings
  • Full knowledge of all applicable laws , regulations, and requirements to always keep the facility in full compliance , this includes being up to date on any changes to current applicable laws/regulations
  • Must remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
  • Must have excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
  • Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Comfortable working in humid environments with strong plant odors and fluctuating temperatures
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and to follow sanitation and safety protocols

Nice To Haves

  • 1 + years l eadership experience in a horticultural or agricultural field
  • Competency in Microsoft office programs ( Excel, Word , PowerPoint , O utlook and T eams)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and exem plify proper techniques related to cultivation, including but not limited to transplanting, trellising, canopy training, pruning, defoliating, harvesting, and room sanitation.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with company standards.
  • As directed, maintain accurate records of all cultivation activities and communicate effectively with the Cultivation Manager and Director of Cultivation
  • Ensure all state regulations are followed, and documentation is prepared and submitted as .
  • Coach and develop the Cultivation Technicians, provide constant developmental feedback
  • Assist the Cultivation Manager and the Director of Cultivation with supervision and direction of cultivation staff, grow schedules, cultivation processes and cultivation inventory.
  • Serve as a role model and resource for cultivation staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, and changes in regulations.
  • Assist the Cultivation Manager and the Director of Cultivation by responding to all cultivation staff questions, concerns, or suggestions and acts when necessary to resolve conflicts
  • Help maintain functionality of equipment in the facility by putting in maintenance tickets and reporting necessary repairs or equipment replacement to the Cultivation Manager.
  • Assist the Cultivation Manager and Director of Cultivation with employee attenda nce and payroll verification
  • Assist the Cultivation Manager and Director of Cultivation with tracking and maintaining the supply of tools/ consumables for cultivation
