About The Position

The Cultivation Associate is responsible for performing any and all plant care and maintenance tasks as directed by the Cultivation Manager. This includes cloning, transplants, harvest, dry room takedown, bucking, trimming, and general plant health maintenance. The role also encompasses cleaning, room resets, sanitation, and other general labor tasks to support the cultivation facility's daily operations. This position provides flexible support across all cultivation and post-harvest activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.

  • Must be able to climb ladders, stand, walk, lift (up to 50lbs), sit, bend, push and pull for a majority of their work schedule.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to use a computer and calculator for 8 hours or more.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or City Police Department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform any and all plant care tasks, including cloning, transplanting, watering, pruning, and feeding.
  • Support harvest activities, including cutting, cradling, bucking, and weighing plants.
  • Assist with dry room takedown, trimming, and post-harvest processing.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and report any anomalies to management.
  • Participate in room resets, sanitation, and cleaning of workspaces and equipment.
  • Move plants, materials, and equipment as needed throughout the facility.
  • Support general labor tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing supplies.
  • Train and mentor team members in standard plant care practices.
  • Identify and address plant health issues, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of cultivation equipment.
  • Perform plant maintenance at all stages of plant development.
  • Operate basic cultivation tools and machinery such as trimming machines, irrigation systems, and light fixtures.
  • Inspect plants for signs of pests or environmental stress.
  • Load and unload materials and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Support other team members in cultivation tasks as needed.
  • Help with packaging, labeling, and transporting cannabis products when necessary.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, supplies, and tasks.
  • Help maintain a compost area located outside of the building.
