Involved in various department functions and activities for the purpose of learning Shelter-specific policies, procedures, and methods of conducting business. Exposed to many facets of department activities including, but not limited to, job shadowing, attending department meetings or applicable corporate training classes, and performing assigned job duties. Assist department with regular work and may be assigned to special projects as appropriate. Must be a current, full-time college student at the sophomore or junior level, also enrolled full time for Fall 2026. Must be available to travel to Home Office in Columbia, MO June 15th -19th and July 20th – 24th.

Requirements

• Must be a current, full-time college student at the sophomore or junior level, also enrolled full time for Fall 2026.
• Must be available to travel to Home Office in Columbia, MO June 15th -19th and July 20th – 24th.
• Good personal computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Time commitment of 8-10 weeks of employment from May through August, and be able to coordinate schedule with school ending, Shelter job needs and start dates.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Build engaging social media content for our corporate and agent channels, as well as develop content for company web pages and targeted landing pages.
• Collaborate on a variety of projects to ensure content remains compliant, aligned with regulatory standards, and consistent with our brand guidelines while helping protect and strengthen the company’s brand presence.
• Involved in various department functions and activities for the purpose of learning Shelter-specific policies, procedures, and methods of conducting business.
