About The Position

The Culinary Transportation Driver is responsible for the transporting and maintaining food products on and off property. This position is also responsible for the safe transporting of kitchen equipment under the supervision of Food & Beverage Chefs. All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.

Requirements

• A High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred to successfully perform this job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Lift and load food product and/or equipment up to 120 lbs.
• Fill and carry food product up to 100 lbs.
• Deliver food supplies to food outlets throughout the property.
• Transport equipment throughout the property.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
• Push/pull food product/equipment up to 400lbs.
• Other duties as assigned
