Requirements
- A proven leader in food service or production management
- Strong skills in purchasing, budgeting, and inventory control
- Detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about operational excellence
- Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
- Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with unionized staff is a plus
- Familiarity with food management systems like CaterTrax and FMS a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage all purchasing and budget oversight for food production
- Provide hands-on leadership to utility staff ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and food safety
- Oversee floor stock management and maintain accurate documentation
- Support catering services using the CaterTrax system
- Drive accountability through FMS documentation of pre- and post-production numbers
- Collaborate with peers and hospital leaders to elevate service and efficiency
