About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Days/Weekends. Hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with every other weekend required. Must be flexible to adjust hours as needed for operations. Every other weekend required. Position may involve light cooking of some ingredients for prep. You will work at the East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. You will support production, retail food venue, patient meals, and catering operations to ensure the right food is available for the right person at the right time. We are seeking a Culinary Production Assistant who: Provides outstanding customer and coworker service. Reviews production and stocking schedules. Accurately and safely prepares and portions food items. Sanitizes dishes, cookware, equipment, and environment. Culinary Production Assistants are eligible for: Paid time off, including 15 days of vacation time for full-time employees. A free bus pass to assist with transportation to and from work.
