As a Dishwasher, your primary responsibility is enriching the lives of our residents by ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen equipment and utensils and dining glasses, plates and utensils, and doing so with a genuine, deep respect for the individual autonomy of our residents. Other primary responsibilities include: Follow standard procedures and best practices to ensure the meticulous cleanliness of the kitchen, including all equipment and utensils, and dining glasses, plates and utensils Follow standard procedures and best practices to maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies on all matters related to food service and safety Knowledgeable of trash, compost, recycling program Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine Washing shared work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors Assist with basic food prep, as requested This is a part-time position. Friday-Monday 3-8pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred
  • Current CA Food Handlers Card required
  • Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Follow standard procedures and best practices to ensure the meticulous cleanliness of the kitchen, including all equipment and utensils, and dining glasses, plates and utensils
  • Follow standard procedures and best practices to maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies on all matters related to food service and safety
  • Knowledgeable of trash, compost, recycling program
  • Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine
  • Washing shared work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors
  • Assist with basic food prep, as requested
