About The Position
Lola’s Taco Bar is a vibrant, high-energy taco concept focused on bold flavors, and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Culinary Operations Manager to oversee all back-of-house operations at Lola’s Taco Bar. This role is responsible for culinary execution, team leadership, food quality, and cost control while supporting efficient, scalable kitchen systems. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who balances operational discipline with a passion for great food.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in a culinary leadership or BOH operations role
- Strong leadership, training, and organizational skills
- Proven success managing food cost, labor, and inventory
- Passion for bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and operational excellence
- Hands-on, dependable, and calm in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- High-volume kitchen experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee all BOH operations, including prep, line execution, and service standards
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen leadership and hourly staff
- Ensure consistent execution of Lola’s menu, recipes, and quality standards
- Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and waste reduction
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Partner with ownership and operations on menu updates, specials, and kitchen processes
- Build and maintain a positive, accountable, and high-performing kitchen culture
