The Culinary Cook | Senior Living Cook | Assisted Living Cook position at Heritage Court Menomonee Falls involves providing customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. Key responsibilities include adhering to menus and recipes, managing special dietary needs, ensuring correct portioning and presentation of food, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef. The role also requires attending to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders and maintaining the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents. This position operates under the supervision of the executive chef and sous chef.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read and write English
• High school diploma or GED
• Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines
• Experience in cooking for an Assisted Living Facility

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 months related experience or training
• Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, and/or hospitality is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
• Adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef
• Attend to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests
• Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents
• Work under the supervision of and take instruction from the executive chef and sous chef
