About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising and overseeing production lines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Oversee assembly line ensuring that team is following all proper and safe product assembly, including: product weights, packing containers, correct labeling and proper documentation Supervise production assembly work. Hire, train, and discipline team members as needed. Maintain X3 and touch systems, which requires tracking, closing and making adjustments to work orders. Manage and promote team efficiency and performance. Execute daily and weekly production plan assigned by a manager and planner. Maintain adequate staffing and working hours to achieve effective manufacturing and product control in compliance with manufacturing specifications. Provide work direction and guidance to Line Leads and other TMs Ensures clean and pleasant work environment Ensure that all procedures are followed for safe food handling while maintaining GMPs Perform all other duties as assigned. Be standing on feet majority of the workday in addition to walking back and forth. Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position sometimes requires extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple work sites and occasional out-of-state travel. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically the packing and warehousing areas Standing most of the workday is required. Work requires movement in and out of storerooms, near heavy machinery and freezers Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Management experience in a production environment
  • Must complete all Whitsons and government required training as necessary
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
