MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides students with industry-recognized instruction and training. Develops and prepares lessons; recommends curricula changes and supplemental materials. Administers and corrects tests; logs and maintains progress and attendance. Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs. Manages the classroom by moving about the room to tutor, coach, evaluate, and assist each student as the need arises. Motivates and counsels students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits. Evaluates and supervise students in an on-the-job training experience. Participates in providing hands-on activities for students in the career preparation program. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
