About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Culinary Apprentice. This is a hands-on, dual-role position that allows you to gain experience in both the kitchen and dining room. You will assist in providing exceptional service to our Residents while learning the fundamentals of cooking and food preparation alongside our culinary team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to an outstanding dining experience every day. NOTE: This role requires availability in the afternoon and every other weekend. Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Interest in learning culinary skills and willingness to cook from scratch.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills; passionate and empathetic.
  • A genuine desire to serve others and provide excellent customer service.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a background check and TB test.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Serve Safe Certification (training provided).
  • Must be available some weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Experience working in restaurant, banquet, or catering environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide our Residents with superior restaurant-quality service, meals, and beverages.
  • Assist in meal preparation and learn cooking techniques under the guidance of the culinary team.
  • Support both front-of-house (serving) and back-of-house (kitchen) operations.
  • Help produce a varied, creative, and nutritious menu.
  • Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Set up and support food service for daily meals and special events.
  • Adhere to all information in the employee handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Culinary Director or Corporate Culinary Support Team.
